How do I change my home or office pick-up and delivery address?

When logged-in to your account via GopherLaundry.com or the mobile app, you can change your address by updating your profile within Account Settings.

How do the Laundry Doctor lockers work?

Easy! Drop your dry cleaning, laundry or specialty items in a 24/7 accessible Laundry Doctor locker. Next, secure the locker choosing any 4-digit code and turning the knob. How can I schedule a cleaning using the Laundry Doctor lockers?

Via GopherLaundry.com, from the place an order screen select Update Locations. From the next screen, select from the list of public locations and click the green add button. This will return you to the order screen where you can now schedule a pick-up from a locker.

Via the mobile app and when near a locker, enable location services for the Droplocker app. Now from the home screen of your app, you should see a map pointer to your location. Click on this map pointer and then select the locker number that contains your clothing.

Via SMS, place your order by texting your locker number (eg “114”) to 612-260-1610.

How do I access the mobile app?

Download the Droplocker app from the App Store or Google Play. Upon downloading the app, enter your address. From there you will be prompted to select a service provider. Select “Laundry Doctor.” Now you will be able to use the mobile application to schedule pick-ups, use Laundry Doctor locker locations, track your orders, and manage your account. Your app log-in is the same email and password you use on GopherLaundry.com.

Why do I only see specific pick-up dates for my address?

Some locations are only serviced on specific service days. This specific schedule allows Gopher Laundry route drivers greater ability to plan their stops on any given day, ultimately ensuring we can adhere to the pick-up and delivery dates we promise to you.

How do I set a weekly pick-up?

Simply type “Weekly Service” in the Order Notes field when scheduling your pick-up.

How do I set my delivery to later than the standard 2 business day turnaround?

Easy! Simply type your desired delivery date in the Order Notes field when scheduling your pick-up.

How do I schedule my delivery?

You do not need to enter a delivery date into our system online or via mobile This is because the system automatically calculates your delivery date for two business days after your pick-up date. Below is a complete listing of pick-up and delivery days.

Monday pick-ups will be delivered on Wednesday anytime between 8 AM and 5 PM.

Tuesday pick-ups will be delivered on Thursday anytime between 8 AM and 5 PM.

Wednesday pick-ups will be delivered on Friday anytime between 8 AM and 5 PM.

Thursday and Friday pick-ups will be delivered on Monday anytime between 8 AM and 5 PM.

 

When will I receive my Laundry Doctor delivery?

The scheduling system automatically calculates your delivery date for two business days after your pick-up. Below is a complete list of pick-up and delivery days:

Monday pick-ups will be delivered on Wednesday anytime between 8 AM and 5 PM.

Tuesday pick-ups will be delivered on Thursday anytime between 8 AM and 5 PM.

Wednesday pick-ups will be delivered on Friday anytime between 8 AM and 5 PM.

Thursday and Friday pick-ups will be delivered on Monday anytime between 8 AM and 5 PM.

Can I give you my own hangers?

Unfortunately, we are unable to hang your clean items on hangers you provide. We do our best to return all non-clothing accessories, such as garment bags and hangers, that we received with your order pick-up. However, please note that these items are considered “non-tracked” inventory and we are unable to guarantee their return. We will not be held liable for un-returned non-clothing accessories.

Is there a minimum order amount to use Laundry Doctor?

Our minimum order amount is $10.00, after all discounts and before taxes. More than 99% of our orders meet this minimum! If your order is less than $10.00 we will charge you the difference between $10.00 and your current order amount.

How do I reschedule or cancel my pick-up or delivery?

To cancel a pick-up or delivery, please just click to contact us. To schedule another delivery, simply select Schedule Pick-up from almost any page on GopherLaundry.com.

What if I would like to let you know what garments I give you ahead of time?

Easy! Just download and print the Inventory Check-in Form, fill it out and place inside your bag of dirty laundry. Upon check-in of your laundry we will call you if we see something different from what you filled out on the form.

What if I leave something in my pockets?

Please reach out to in the way that is most convenient for you. We check all pockets before dry cleaning or laundering items. Any items that we find will be returned with your Gopher Laundry delivery. We are not responsible for loss or damage to non-dry cleaning or laundry items that were inadvertently given to us.

What happens if you damage or lose my clothing?

In the unlikely event that we damage or lose an article of clothing, we will do everything we can to repair the damage or find the article, replace the article, or reimburse you for the price of a new replacement item. Simply contact us in the way that is most convenient for you and we will respond within 60 minutes during business hours. Please note that should damage to the garment arise from following the garment’s indicated care instructions, Gopher Laundry is not liable for any reimbursement for the damaged item.

How do you handle issues and complaints?

Your satisfaction with our service is our top priority. You can submit an issue or complaint online, by emailing member.services@gopherlaundry.com, calling 612-656-WASH, calling your dedicated Route Manager, or using social media. No matter the channel, we will respond within 60 minutes during business hours. If you are unsatisfied with our service in any way, we will promptly make it right or refund your money and give you another free service. No questions asked.

What quality controls do you have in place?

First, we carefully select our cleaning sites and suppliers for satisfactory sanitation and care. Then, we check every single dry cleaning item before it is delivered to ensure the press is to satisfaction, any requested stains have been treated, and there is no damage to the garment. We also inspect laundry items to ensure proper fold and cleaning before delivery. We love checklists. We use checklists for pick-up and delivery routines, cleaning routines, packaging routines, and customer service routines. We firmly believe that established, repeatable, and audited processes have allowed us to offer the service that is known and loved by our Members.

We take the quality of our cleaning very seriously and if there is ever an issue with our cleaning (or service), we will make it right or refund your money and give you another free service. No questions asked.

How do I pay for my Laundry Doctor service?

Unless otherwise noted, we require a credit card on file with your account to process your order. We will automatically charge your credit card for the service when your order is ready to be delivered (usually 1-2 days before delivery). You will be able to see a detailed invoice that reflects all cleaning charges in our secure customer portal at that time. You can enter, view, and modify your credit on file information by logging into our secure customer portal that you made during registration.

Laundry Doctor does not currently pick-up and deliver to my area. How can I add my pick-up and delivery location?

We will be happy to pick-up and deliver to most locations outside of our defined service area for a minimum order of $60. It is much easier to meet this minimum order quantity when you sign-up with a friend! If you sign-up with a friend we’ll give you each $10 off your first service. You will still need to meet the $60 minimum after this discount.

Where do you pick-up and deliver?

What if I miss my pick-up or delivery time?

We understand life happens! Just schedule another pick-up and delivery time. Alternatively, you can call us at 612-656-WASH or email member.services@gopherlaundry.com. You can edit your pick-up or delivery 60 minutes before the requested time at no charge. If you change your pick-up or delivery time after this cut-off, or if we are unable to pick-up or deliver your order we may charge a “No Show Fee” of $3.99. As always, you can contact us. We always respond within 60 minutes during business hours.

Can I track the status of my order?

During the registration process, you will create a profile in our secure customer portal. In this portal, you can track the status of your dry cleaning and laundry, modify your cleaning preferences, modify pick-up and delivery instructions, view and modify your credit card, and submit a support request.

Is my laundry washed with other customers’ laundry?

NO WAY! We take sanitation very seriously so each customer’s wash-dry-fold laundry is washed and dried in its own individual machine, folded on its own individual folding table, and the clean clothes are wrapped prior to delivery. We even sanitize each washer and dryer after every cycle to ensure maximum cleanliness.

How will my dry cleaning and laundry be distinguished from other Laundry Doctor customers?

Each individual that signs up for our service is assigned a unique customer number. Using your unique customer number, we track your order through the entire supply chain, from pick-up to delivery.

What if I have more dirty clothes than will fit into my laundry bag?

For the safety of your clothes, we ask that each laundry bag that you give us can completely close with the drawstring. This is to prevent loss of clothes during transit. If the bag is unable to close, please request an additional laundry bag by emailing member.services@gopherlaundry.com. After the first instance of a laundry bag not closing, we will also charge a $5 service fee per instance to clean the extra laundry.

How much laundry can my Laundry Doctor bag hold?

A 25 LB Laundry Bag can hold 1-2 loads. A 35 LB Laundry Bag can hold 3-4 loads. It is these large quantities that make using our service so affordable.

Some of my items are hand-wash or air-dry only. Will you still wash these items?

Absolutely! Please place these items into a separate plastic bag with an accompanying note. Place the plastic bag and note inside your Gopher Laundry bag and we will give these items the care and attention you requested. Please note that we charge $2.99 extra per item that requires handwashing or air-drying.

What items should I put in the Maroon or Gold laundry bag?

Anything you would like washed in a washing machine, dried in a tumble dryer and then folded should go into your Maroon or Gold laundry bag.

Do I need to separate my laundry?

Anything you would like washed in a washing machine, dried in a tumble dryer and then folded should go into its own plastic bag(s). Anything you would like cleaned, pressed and returned on a hanger should go into a separate plastic bag(s). If you have items that require special care, such as air drying or special spotting, please place these items into another separate plastic bag with an accompanying note. From there, our trained professionals sort, pre-treat stains, dry clean or wash & fold, and package your clothing for you.

What items should I put in the blue garment bag?

Anything you would like cleaned, pressed and returned on a hanger should go in the blue garment bag. If the item can be laundered we will automatically launder it. Items that require dry cleaning will be dry cleaned. We always closely follow the instructions on the garment care tag.

Some of my items require special care. How do I let you know?

Please place these items into a separate plastic bag with an accompanying note. Place the plastic bag and note inside your Gopher Laundry bag and we will give these items the care and attention you requested.

I work in an office or enclosed space, how does pick-up and delivery work?

We can meet you in-person to pick-up and deliver, or we can pick-up and deliver to a central location such as a mailroom or breakroom. Should you want to meet us in-person, simply mark “Pick-up in-person” or “Deliver to me in-person” when scheduling your pick-up. If you would like for us to pick-up and deliver to a central location, just mark “I will not be present at pick-up” and “I will not be present at delivery” and then tell us the location in your building in the Pick-up and Delivery Special Instructions field.

I live in an apartment complex, how does pick-up and delivery work?

We have relationships with many Twin Cities apartment complexes that allow us to pick-up and deliver to the front office or concierge.

If there is no front office, or if your apartment complex does not allow this activity, we can meet you at your door or outside of the building to pick-up and deliver. We will call you when we are a few minutes away from meeting you.

When will I receive my personal reusable Laundry Doctor bag?

In what should I give you my dirty clothes for the first pick-up?

For your first pick-up, simply fill a clean plastic bag with the clothing you would like cleaned. A tied grocery bag works well for small orders and a clean trash bag is great for larger orders.

Anything you would like washed in a washing machine, dried in a tumble dryer and then folded should go into its own plastic bag(s). The price of your order is based on the bag size filled as listed below.

  • Kitchen trash bags (10 – 15 gallons) are equivalent to a 25 LB Gopher Laundry bag.
  • Semi-full large trash bag (i.e. half-full 30-gallon trash bag) is equivalent to a 35 LB Gopher Laundry bag.
  • Full large trash bag (30 gallons) is equivalent to a 25LB + 35LB Gopher Laundry bag.

Anything you would like cleaned, pressed and returned on a hanger should go into a separate plastic bag(s). If you have items that require special care, such as air drying or special spotting, please place these items into another separate plastic bag with an accompanying note.

Can I schedule my pick-up for a time window within your offered time slots?

Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate time window requests within or outside of the time slots and days we offer online. This allows us to keep our on-time pick-up and delivery promise to all of our customers.

Do I need to be present during my pick-up or delivery time?

There is no need for you to be present during your pick-up or delivery time.

If you choose to be present, simply select your pick-up and delivery window and we will meet you in-person at that time. We can meet you at your front door or outside of your building. We will call you when we are a few minutes away from meeting you.

If you would like service to a single-family home and choose not to be present:

Simply leave your bag of dirty clothes in front of your door to be picked-up. We will deliver your fresh clean folded laundry in a seal-packed bag to your front door (similar to a UPS or FedEx package). If you are a dry cleaning customer, we will provide you a special door hanger for you to leave on your door so we may hang your freshly cleaned items upon deliver. In the event of inclement weather we will coordinate a time to meet you in person to deliver your clean clothes.

To do this, when scheduling a service online just mark “I will not be present at pick-up” and “I will not be present at delivery.” This will signify us to provide you a special dry cleaning hanger if you are a dry cleaning customer, and also send you a reminder to place the door hanger on your front door before we deliver your clean clothes.

If you would like service to an apartment and choose not to be present:

We have relationships with many Twin Cities apartment complexes that allow us to pick-up and deliver to the front office or concierge. See our Partner Properties List to see if your apartment complex is listed. If not, just let us know and we will coordinate pick-up and delivery with the front office.
